So I am sitting here thinking about the fule light situation. When I installed the fuel pump I did not bypass the old one. Do you think it may be causing a blockage?

very well could. plumb around it - it's not being used anyways...

I think one of the big benefits to going electric, is removing one of the two ways for fuel to get in your crankcase. If you leave the factory one in there, then you're not getting that benefit.
