i don't like his cocky personallity at all, but he does have skills when it comes to this kind of stuff and i can respect that. i can't wait to watch the vid.

Forgive me for my ignorance but what exactly did he do to it that few have done befor

he put a BorgWarner S300 turbo intened for a 6.0L PSD onto a 6.9L IDI. you can find his build thread on FTE or PSN.

His turbo is actually a S362 from a Cat C-7. There's a bunch more than just that done there though.
I'm quite impressed by the cranking speed on that engine, it almost sounds like my PSD does. Lowered compression might not be such a huge detriment to starting if the cranking speed goes up like it sounds like it did.
