Thanks to a last minute tow, I am finally departing.
5pm PST.
Loaded wt. 9200lbs.
70 gal of fuel 19/19/32gal tanks.
8 gal of water 4 gal of oil.
in-bed toolbox is full of every service part needed for these trucks and all the hard tools too.
cab has the electronic service tools and the tool bags for the hand tools.
1st stop will prolly be in Reno tonite.
Be updating as I proceed.

That's two days late, as I count. Not bad.

Our neighbors used to form a pool: 1) would we actually leave the day we planed? 2) How many times we would return for some 'forgotten' item.

Remember to keep your tanks topped up where you can. Fill up at Wendover.

just woke up from a long nap somewhere between stockton and sacto.
i'm going to try the fuel site. my readings are going to be a little thrown since I am running garbage in the 32 gal tank.
the rebadging to it's current name happened when I slid in the WMO refinery into the bed a few years back. this trip i'm only running a 32gal tank instead of the 180g and 125g tank units. i run those when i am pulling a trailer. it does wonders to operating expenses
i'll make a trip to Minden before the summer is out, this time I will be coming back in through the south route via I10.
