Is an electric fuel pump!
I had to take the truck to the dealership that my wife works at to get the waterpump replaced ($175 & another $180 to replace the clogged original radiator). Well once I got off the interstate, the truck died! I pulled over to check my clear piece of hose going into the filter housing, and it was bone dry The last time I had to reprime a dry system was on the stock lift pump, and I ran out of battery before it cranked
Well this time I just switched tanks and flipped on the fuel pump switch, held down the schrader valve to let the air out, and it fired up on the 2nd try!
I was suprised how easily it came back to life!
