Long Nose Superduty

Has anybody seen or heard of building a "long hood" (ala Pete or KW) Ford Superduty so they could fit alternative engines - DT-466, 8.3 Cummins, 3208's or other similar engines too large to fit in the stock truck. I think something like that done properly could be very cool. There are enough of them out there that they should start showing up in wrecking yards and gassers are getting to be reasonable. I would build a frame specifically to handle the engine then add the cab and stretch the fenders and hood to match.

;Really Start here on this F-650 :D It's not as stretched as some I've seen.

Not exactly what I was thinking. An F-650 would likely fit many other engines. And I was talking about stretching the nose, not the cab. It would be much for fun to pop that long hood or maybe tilt it to reveal ?. Leave F-250 emblems on it to confuse folks.
