stock idi alternator pigtail

any one know where to get one? I broke mine and then the african engineering fix broke the other day and I am running out of wire to splice to.

also does anyone know what that black round thing is surrounding the wires about an inch from the pigtail?

Black thing should be a fusible link.

If it's the same, I have the harness and regulator from my 88.

I hope no one floggs me for this one, but I swapped in a GM 2 wire alternator for mine. Its been good for the last 3 years.

$20 +shipping takes harness and regulator???

Local auto parts stores should have one...mine had them in the "help!" parts area. about 3 or 4 bucks.

You have a 3g in your 91, I dont know if the plug is the same., if it is , great, if not, Napa lists the things, Car Quest should have them, as do a number of other places

My 88 definitely was not a 3G……

Most any wrecking yard Ford will have what you want.. Could your firend with all the idi rigs loan you this part.. As posted above they are plentiful out there in many parts places. Also sounds like a member here has more than you need but its good to know someone has what you need and is ready to step up and help out.
