Hey guys just a quick question. The steering column in my truck is shot alot of play and after a new accuator it still won't start by the key. I pull a column from the junk yard but the little plastic knob that holds the bar that goes to shift the trans broke in the process. Just wondering what I need to do, do tey sell that little rubber knob? Also is there a trick to picking the lock since I have no key for it? Thanks!

For the lock, Ford's standard procedure in the manual is to take a large screwdriver or chisel, get behind the chrome piece where the key goes in, and smack it with a hammer so it breaks off. Then you can slip some sort of tool up in beside the key actuator and press the little button that holds it in place and remove it. Sometimes it just comes right on out after you break it off.
