starting problem

my 01 starts hard i have to crank for about 30 seconds to start it in the morning no matter if its plugged in or not then its fine the rest of the day it has a new lift pump and i have checked the pressure and the grid heaters has anyone had a simaler problem?

is it a factory lift pump? i have seen some guys with the fass pumps have issues during start up
