Stalling

Can't seem to find the olds 5.7 forum so i'll post here. Like the title says it's stalling. Usually it seems to do it soon after it is started, but not everytime. The motor is usually warm, but not always. Sometimes it will take alot of cranking, sometimes it will fire right back up. We put a new filter on. We checked pressure and volume of lift pump, 5psi and volume seems good. We put clear line before lift pump, no air. Don't see any leaks. Whats wrong?

pull it out and swap in a 455, best cure for the problem, have the injectors pop tested too see if they are ok.

I put a different shut off valve in and that fixed it. In Diesel Power a guy put a duramax in a Olds.
