everything was around $110+ from what i could see for a reasonable amount that would do a truck cab like 60 sq ft or more

By the way, I forgot to mention.
When I used the ice and water shield on the trooper, I didn't bother covering every inch of every panel. Just got the middle/center of the main stuff like the doors and roof, and that was enough to kill the sound.
I did the floor the same way. But I also put foam carpet padding under the carpet and vinyl, when I replaced those.
