My 97 F250 has been eating fuel, smoking and low on power. It's also gaining crankcase oil. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have a cracked nozzle on an injector.if you can get it to a shop have a cylinder contribution test done on it.

Gaining oil, that's fuel getting into the crankcase. Could it be the fuel pump, it runs off the center lobe of the cam? Sure as heck wouldn't run it like that, gonna lose the bearings if you do.

It smokes more now than it ever did on a cold start. The oil level on the stick definatly has gone up. And yes it does have a knock.

Do not drive it! You have an injector dumping fuel when it shouldn't.if you drive it you will spit out a piston.you need to have a scanner put on it and run a cylinder contribution test.or replace the injectors as a set.the cct may not tell you wich one it is.

It's a skip not a knock. I'm pretty sure it's the injector O rings. Sorry about the mix up with the knock. When I wrote that last post I had just done two 16hr. shifts in a row.
I did do a cct on it before and it checked out good. But now the comp. won't connect to the truck. Is this usually a grounding issue?
