maybe mel or someone who knows alot more about the pumps would know. as far as i though the fuel screw only changed the fuel delivery slope and didnt affect idle.

maybe you bumped the return lines and are getting air in but not fuel leaking out. but still the ele pump should fix that i would think.

maybe a simple test would be turn the fuel back to where you had it and see what happens?

If you just turned down the fuel, maybe the pump cover is leaking a little air in.

Have you gotten anywhere with this? I had been dealing with extended cranking cold till it got to the point that it took several tries cold to get it running. tore the ip down and found the pressure regulator spring very weak. put in transfer pump ring and vanes and springs, and another regulator and it starts great. this pump has 55k of wmo 50 to 100%
