Since CSK is technically O'reilly's now, I have been spending time looking through the new computer system. My discount is different so I have to see what all my diesel parts cost me now. I was trying to find a motorcraft battery cable since we carry MC filters. I found it for $350, or $160 for me. Further down the page though was the O'reilly parts, $135 or $56 for me for a positive battery cable. I ordered it yesterday and got it today, it looks just like my OEM cable so I am thrilled I didn't have to spend $180 at the dealership. The part number is 04357 if anyone else needs one...though it will cost you a tad more than it did me.

As an employee I only pay 10% over cost...which is good and bad. I save a ton of money on most stuff, but some parts may actually cost me more than the general public. I was wrong on the other price though, I went online and found the cable for only $80 for everyone else. It's a super start cable, 04357.

Well I got the new cable on today. Like most aftermarket wiring assemblies it's a tad longer than original but overall fit quite nicely. It's nice having one less thing to worry about though.
