As of this writing, my vacuum motors all seem to be working fine. Back in the days when I was young and spry, I was a boy sprout and learned to appreciate the value of being prepared. I searched rock auto, LMC and a few other sites, but other than going to a salvage yard and finding equally antique vacuum motors, it seems brand new identical replacements are not available.
I presume that the most important features would be the stroke length of the actuator arm and how many inches of mercury the vacuum motor is rated for. I'm certain I would have to fabricate some means of mounting each vacuum motor. Has anyone had to replace these and if so, which vacuum motors did you use?
