Redline brake actuating system

Can someone explain how the Redline vacuum brake system works and if a problem with the system could be causing the brakes on my pickup to need me standing on them to stop, even with no trailer. Thanks much

Are you talking about vacuum/hydraulic or electric/hydraulic?
