question about power + EGT

hi, i have a 93 D250 dually auto 245000 kilometers bone stock.

was wondering if i maxed the full power screw, bottomed the afc star wheel and custom ground the power pin, plus a 16cm housing and some bosch injectors (dont like the idea of POD's hazing at idle...), that i would be relatively OK for EGT's with open intake and 4" DP hooked up to 6" dual stacks?

also how would my TC and tranny/driveline hold up to that?

EGT's would depend more on your right foot than what you turn the settings to. If you drive it like I do then yes you will still have to worry about the EGT's pretty much no matter what you do.

But with the mods you are planning I would keep an eye on them for a while until you learn what kind of foot travel yeilds a certain temp.

yeah i guess that makes sense eh... so i shouldnt hold it past 1300 pre-turbo for longer than a few seconds?

also, how will the tranny/TC hold up to that?
