That's exactly what I'm saying. I paid 300 bucks for something i could have done myself in 10 minutes.

Ah - that is interesting. It is frustrating when any shop does not "do it right" and no shop is perfect I guess. I do appreciate your honest review of what you experienced. That helps the rest of us make decisions of what and where to purchase products for our trucks.

I wondered if that might be what it was. I'd be afraid of a standard chrome cracking with the flexing of the lines.

Yeah my pump had old bearings left in it and some gritty stuff. Good thing i didn't run it, had to have it gone through again. We've got about 5 bad pumps from him. Tried getting reimbursed some but they weren't having it. Oh well. Live and learn.

Little brainstorming while trying to figure out a way to mount the tank, the factory dash support brackets will work PERFECT!

Going to be drivable by then (admittedly I have no idea when that event is), or is she riding on a trailer? Good progress so far, and yes paycheck to paycheck builds blow, but eh well, at least it's getting done vs. just gathering dust in the back of a barn or something. Also that is indeed a nice dashpad, after putting another crack in my own dash today (FYI, do not use self-tappers in a brick dash, bolt & nut only) I'm seriously missing the old-style accident-unfriendly setups...
