Idi vs psd piston rings. And if you buy oversized idi rings do you need pistons also

The 7.3 PSD's pistons made a change from Pre Jan. 98 ring width is 0.402 ----from Post Jan 98 they are 0.435.
Youd have to measure the 7.3 IDI rings.
