looks like morning after new years ***.... Our test batchs were much darker brown. We didnt heat anything though. and its unwashed...

I also think it's too yellow.
Perhaps it's beacuse the oil was a mix of new and 1 time use.

Boy your first batch looks a ton better than mine - I made glop - too much lye. The scale I was using was toast (digital - given away at work... humm wonder why).
