Pan torque?

First off there shouldn't be a gasket. Just grey rtv. If it's in the truck then no big deal.

I've started torquing things like valve covers and pans. I don't trust myself on them anymore. They seem tighter than I would have thought.

Like 10 lb-ft. Just enough to get some seating without squishing out the RTV or warping the pan. Learned that from my 5 e4od rebuilds! (Not me, PO used mismatched 4r100 parts along with e4od internals)
