p0016 code crankshaft misaligment/ out of sync

what would be the fix for this code or is it pretty much buy a new sencor or is there an adjustment

it an 04 dodge cummins
will this make it not want to start
the shop that the truck was at put a new engine in it and im not really shure what year the used engine came out of and im wondering if the reluctor wheel differ from year to year or if its just a bad sencer and im not really that familiar with these engines

well replaced the cam sencer and the crank sencer from the old engine and still no start
the damn thing didnt even fire off of wd-40 so im kinda at a loss
and the bad thing is i didnt even put the engine in or know where the new engine even came from what the hell is going on sorry getting a bit flusterd at it im going to call it a day and get back on it monday
