Oring and roll pin with new pump??

I figured the oring went on the fuel fitting, but where does the little roll pin go? Sorry for all the stupid newbie questions

I thought he had instructions for those.
Since you have a 5 speed, you don't need the roll pin. That's for the tps.

the o-ring is for the fitting for "fuel in" line.
the fitting you should have pulled off your old one needs this o-ring

@Agnem still havnt put these on the directions?
or is it the customers inability to read? :D

That roll pin is used for the C6 trans equipped trucks or vans. The E4OD equipped trucks or vans requires a drive dog with 3 very small allen screws in it. You MUST make sure you remove and install this drive dog correctly on the new pump. PLEASE.... Take a pic before you remove this from the old pump. then you have no guessing. If you install it incorrectly you will destroy the TPS the first time to go wide open throttle. Mel usually asks what kind of trans you have so he can make sure EVERY needed part is in the box with a new pump.

My bad. I still don't have a little slip of paper in there explaining this. I guess somehow I expect people here to know this through osmosis. :shrug: Its on my to do list!
