Opther options for turbo intake hats.

Without getting nutty and modifying the intake, other than using those banks snails that sit ontop of the intake to feed boost pressure into, what other ways are there? silicone boot?
Thinking going to make my own kit with an hx35 turbo with intercooler, just need to figure intake hat situation, and then fab some brackets for the turbo pedestal mount.

Pipe that fits on the intake with a cap on it, then weld another pipe on at whatever angle, size and length you want?

Take a look at what Justin has for modified intake, I'm thinking it's quite a good idea, and easy to add in the IC compared to the off the shelf and custom built snails or adapters that fit the stock intake!

yeah but you've got a lot more work involved swapping out the whole intake than simply bolting something on.
i guess if the ip needed to be swapped out and this was during a turbo install so you didn't need to pull that....
