One more quick question

Today while making a new glowplug harness i spotted a 2 prong plug (on the motor) .. behind the top rad hose inlet to the engine. It came unplugged so I plugged it back in.

anyone know what it is ???

I'm assuming it's some kind of a sensor for something, but i don;t know.

It is the temp sensor that controls the high idle solenoid and the cold timing advance.

yep it's the temp switch for the high idle and timing advance....

oh ok thanks. My truck has been doing a weird thing..........the glowplug controler keeps cycling everytime I start it (warmed up or not) ........ I thought it might have been something to do with that selenoid.
