Since this Corona virus thing I am going out of my way to only buy made in the USA everything. I may not be able to get some things but from this day on I will look for Made in the USA label
Last I heard, many stainless steels will work harden and crack. I'd probably go with something like schedule 80 galvanized.
Depending on process fluid yes. Oil and steam tend to not have issues in stainless. But a galvanized pipe would do just fine.
Use steel hydraulic fittings. It's a pain in the ass to get cheap China stainless steel fittings to not leak. I have a five gallon bucket full of them that I'm going to scrap because they will not seal.
That brass is a bad idea, vibration will break it.
