np 208 questions

hey all could one take a ford np208 and put a dodge 23 spline input shaft into it and bolt the ford 208 with the doge input on to the back of a dodge tranny and still get the correct drivers side drop with a good angle?

thoughts?

this comes because the 242 i bought of egay is and electronic speedo and i dont know how to make it work with the truck not only that but the 242's shift pattern is all wacky.

i want to keep my ford shift pattern.

Um why not get a Dodge drivers side drop t case...and bolt it to the Dodge tranny and make that work? would that not be a WHOLE lot easier?

i have 242 out of a dodge auto truck which would work except that

1. is shift pattern is funky.
2. electronic speedo
3. dodge drive flanges not yokes.

so id have to buy the yoke to flange plate, and a sye kit to get a mechanical speedo.

thats big bucks.
