newb question

I'm mad as hell at this point to the fact that i have spent 6 days searching for td performance upgrades such as turbos, cams, turbo manifolds, exhuast systems and other power upgrades for my 91 1.6 td. Can u guy's please help a poor man in his search for this type of thing if it really does exist.

Frankly, there isn't much along the lines of upgrades for older VW TD's. I'm not sure where you are but I'd give a call to the guys at Piers Diesel Research in Langely, BC, Canada. They had a TD Rabbit that is older and totally smoked the competition - a sleeper if you will.

You may want to expand the search and try www.vwvortex.com - or www.vwdov.ca or www.tdiclub.com. Other than that, brush up on your German and do some surfing across the pond - they will have lots of goodies over there.
