In the summer of 2020 I had a chance to purchase a copy of my first truck. 1984 F250 4x4 diesel with the 4spd, not a lot of rust for a MN truck and in really nice shape overall. Price was way too good to pass up even though I had no time to work on it. Something is knocking in the engine and its been in my shed ever since. Somewhere after that purchase I found this forum and the wealth of info it has to offer. I also aquired an 87 F350 diesel with a banks kit for parts since a tree had fallen on the body. I finally made the time to get started and this truck will be getting a lot of work as I plan on it being my daily driver. I will start a full build thread soon but here are the main things.
Rebuild the 87 engine, cam, keep the turbo.
5spd conversion, 1356 case, D60 front, 10.25 rear, 3.55 gears
