hello folks...I have a starter prob
I have removed to 2 short bottom bolts and the top long bolt...the starter will wiggle but not drop out...I gave it some taps with a hammer...no-go...hooked it back up and turned the motor over a couple times...unbolt...no-go...still wiggles but hangs up...took dust cover from bottom of flywheel and looked inside..gear is stickin' out a bit...but at least 1/2 inch from flywheel....any help appreciated...

somewhere,ma
just keep wiggling it.it will fall out but make sure your head aint under it.while its sota loose spray a good penetrating oil on it.its just a tight fit and a small amount of rust makes it worse.

What he said...it's most likley hung on the adaptor---it's about 1" thick.

Road dust, clutch dust etc....will filter in the tiniest places!
