Need Oil Cooler torque specs really fast!!!

What is the torque specs on the oil cooler mounting bolts?

Tight is what they need to be. They are 3/8 and 5/16 bolts so don't attempt to tighten both the front and back header the same. Any torque book will have these specs. Sorry I don't have them here.

I have had my parts for a month+ tomorrow is the day I put it all back together.

Haynes Diesel Techbook states 18 ft.lbs on header bolts for the oil cooler

DO NOT use silicone on the gaskets.

and make sure everything is 100% dry and clean. A small amount of oil weeping out of the galley will kill the gasket's effectiveness. Good luck

Got it and Double got it. I don't have it apart yet, but tomorrow morning ITS GAME TIME for this oil cooler rebuild!
