Need a part name!

Picked up an 86 f350 with 6.9 and 4spd manual 4x2, a week or so ago. Just crawled under it to check on somethings, and saw the small flywheel cover is friggn gone. I assume you all know what i'm talking about, what's it called? I need to call yards first think in the mornin' as I can't risk driving it and having something get up in there. What do i go by when looking for it, the motor or the tranny?? Thanks!

I don't run them either. every little bit of extra cooling helps a f450 clutch.

Nothing gets kicked up in there? water, rocks, sand? I dont' wheel it, just a daily driver but made me nervous. Regardless, I found one and the engine exploded today anyways. So i guess that was pointless
