I think I practically stole this thing!! Tank and Pump (pump has new seals in it too) + it has about 25 gallons of fresh diesel!! $220!!!!!!! I plan to have it rhinolined with the same product my 94's truck bed is done w/ and do the same liner w/ an aluminum treadplate tool box (next CL venture)

Question:

Right now the guy has the pump setup with about a 4' lead and some alligator clips to power it (12v) I was thinking of making a power supply in the toolbox w/ a switch (in cab) and in the bed having both 12 volt power and a 2500 watt inverter (for running small drills, etc..) How would one wire such a setup??

How big is the tank?

As far as wiring, ours is powered with i think 10 or 12ga wire. If you want an inverter that large you'll need some serious cable...

When i wire up my inverter, i'm going to get one of those wiring kits for wiring up car amplifiers (4-6ga cable). That's an option for you. They usually have 15-20' of cable. I'd run the cable straight to the inverter, then pigtail off to the pump. Ground both to the frame to save cable.

P.S. Using a 2500W inverter to power small drills? That would run my 1/2hp motor for my centerfuge...:D

It's a 115 gallon tank. I figure it'll get me out to the west coast without a fill up.
