MoPar fog lights

Has anyone installed the MoPar fog lights in a Ram that didn't have them from the factory?

I'm looking to get the MoPar Fog Lights .

I was under the truck & saw a plug in next to the passenger side fog light.
Is that a factory installed fog light harness??
Do you have to use a seperate switch or can you get the headlight switch with fog lights & wire in to that switch?

Are the mounts there for the fog lights or do I have to fabricate something?

Then all I have to do is get the PIAA extreme white bulbs for the fog lights (9006?) so they match the head lights.

I bought my fog light from the dealer. It was a "kit". It included the lights, brackets, new fog light buckets, wiring including fuse holder and relay, headlight switch, and even the little plastic rivets to reattach the bumper overlay.

I'm sure you could fab up your own mounts and rig a seperate switch. I just wanted it as clean as possible.

That sounds like what I want!!
Did you install it yourself??
If you did were al the mounts there & did you have to completely wire it or did it plug in to the existing harness??

Did id myself, everything was completely included and was plug and play.

Your model may be different as the change in years changed who knows what else.

That's great, I hope mine goes like that!!

MyDodgeParts.com has the fog lights for $141.60, I'll check & see what comes with that kit.

I didn't think not having fog lights was a big deal, I hadn't relized that I'd gotten used to having them on my Dakota, they did a great job of filling in the datk spots.

I got the kit & it was an easy install even for someone who hates electrical stuff!!

Now the only problem is the fog lights don't match the PIAA extreme white plus bulbs in the headlights!!
They are really yellow compaired to he PIAA's!!


Now I got to spend more $$ to get the PIAA's for the fog lights!!
