160,000psi fuel injection?
sounds nifty, but what happens when a nozzle gets a wee bit of anything in it, fires off a stream, and cuts a piston in half?

that might be a problem.

The injector has more than the usual 4-5 holes, forgot the count, but it's a lot, and it mists the fuel. The nozzles don't clog ( so he says ), and they can tolerate really hot fuel ( like 400 degrees F ). Lifetime warranty will be available. We'll see.

Any possibility of putting one of those pumps on a IDI to get the injection pressure up?

I would think it would almost be cheaper on an IDI as its already rigged up for a gear driven IP .

It is, it's just the inline 8 cylinder pumps are pricey. The last cheap pump I saw was for a 9.0 IH and that was 295.00 on fleabay. Don't know what the Bosch units are going for.
