I have no idea what these trucks are worth, but a local guy has a '96 2500 Club Cab, 2wd, 5 speed, long bed for sale. He's asking $3000.00 for it. Its been wrecked, needs hood, rt. fender, rt. headlight, radiator, and a little frame repair. I work at a body shop, so the repair is no big deal. Looks like it will take about $1000.00 in parts to repair. Truck has new tires, 2 Optima red batteries, new water pump and fuel shut off solenoid (so he says). Here's the kicker.... the odometer shows 034XXX.X... so its either 34 thousand miles, or one million and 34 thousand miles... the owner is not sure. Any thoughts on this? Is it worth 3k if it does have 34K miles?
