After quite some time, a few different jobs and other numerous life happenings, it looks like I'm snagging an 85 ECLB 4*4, 4 speed 6.9. Should be picking it up this afternoon if all goes well.

Welcome back... Sounds like you made the right move and are getting another rig. I feel these are the easiest engines to keep running at a really low cost. Just maintain the fuel system and the batteries and your good to go.

Well, I got it home. Guy I got it from was the 2nd owner. Looks in very good shape for this area and the year. First bullnose I've had where both tanks held full fuel and cruise worked. Needs a vacuum pump, a good once over, and u joints, but I'm glad I picked it up. Pics to come tomorrow.
