lift pump

question im new, i have a 96 not gettin fuel to my filter so it has to b my lift pump right btw i took it out and if i push the plunger arm all the way in it kinda clicks is that where its worn out idk, but it seems to me like it wrks fine any ideas

why not run the high pressure pump off a bottle higher than it filled with fuel to make sure?

there is a filter screen on the pump - is it clean?

i took the water seporator apart and cleaned it it lookd fine, but i didnt c a filter on the pump itself

o nvm i c the screen its clean, me and my buddy pressureized the fuel; tank got fuel to the water seporator to the lift pump, cranked to motor got it to the injector pump got it to the injectors and it ran for bout 5min and quit tried startin it bk up nvr did so idk wats wrong

if you run a line from the lift pump into a jug of fuel does it pull fuel?

ill try it thanks, and does the water seporator have anything to do with it, does anything in it turn causing the lift pump not to get fuel

ok listen to this one, i installed new lift pump, still not pumping has to b something enternal right,they run off ur camshaft and i looked up in thier and it kinda looked like my camshaft lobe was grinded down idk help me
