I have not been able to find msny part numbers in general, nothing exact yet/ Frank

Do you mean to learn how the parts numbering system is set up? or do you mean specific parts numbers?
Also, FYI, numbers cast into a part are not necessarily the same as the part number, as several different parts may be machined from the same basic casting. Neither are Engineering numbers the same as parts numbers.
The basic system as developed way back in the Madel A days is quite interesting.

What,exactly, are you seeking?

parts numbers

Yep, I wanna know about the parts numbers, how the system is organized and where parts numbers can be found. Looking for parts and using the number is faster and more accurate. There was a seller on ebay who was selling several pages of body parts. I need a fender and parts for my 2002 Ranger. Frank in Idaho

The basic Ford Part numbers for fenders are:

27846 Right rear panel--Quarter
27847 Left Rear panel-quarter
16005 right front fender
16006 left front fender

To this, you add the prefix which defines the body type (year, and car, or truck line).
The suffix gives the change level in finish or design.
