IP ?

My friends truck "just stopped running all of a sudden" she had the fuel pump, alternator(why?) and batteries replaced. I opened the line after the fuel filter and there is flow- looks very bubbley though. removed the injector line to the #2 injector and there was less than a drop per second when the engine was cranking. I am 80% sure its the ip.
its a 87 6.9 no cruise

It may not be the IP. For sure the thing is sucking air somewhere between the lift pump and the tank. If you are sucking air there, there is no way you are going to get the IP bled off to function properly, so you are going to have to find your air leak first
