Got a turbo ip off a friend but every orifice has been left open and in a shop environment so I have no idea what kind of crap has settled in it.
What would be a good way to purge the pump out without sending any crap into my injectors? Will spinning the pump by hand with an electric pump pushing fuel into the inlet be enough to purge the head and rotor assembly? Can this be done without swapping the ip onto the engine? If I can only do it on the engine then I’m going to grab 8 beer cans and put the lines into them and crank a bunch till I think it’s clean.
Any suggestions or ways you have done this would be appreciated.
