Installing SD recovery points on an OBS??????

Looks like it'd be pretty easy to replicate. I can get measurements if you need them.

The problem I have is the spoiler thing under the bumpers. My wife wants to keep the one on her truck and my dually has a big stainless steel one. That is why I would like to go with a set of stock SD hooks.

I think mine had one also, but I removed it.
You could either extend the mounting plate down, or make a "door" for the hooks.

I haven't paid attention to the SD tow hooks, so I'll go look at some pictures and see if I can get any ideas.

I was looking at the idea of cutting holes. That is yet another reason I am considering the SD hooks. The look a lot cleaner coming out of the middle of the bumper.

Well for the SD style, you would have to cut a hole in the bumper. Then they'll be recessed in a ways.

This would be a second option, not SD hooks, but same style.

Another option would be a front receiver hitch.

From my research, no one has mounted SD hooks(loops) on a obs.

I really like those! Thanks for the heads up. I have a SD bumper that will bolt right up with a little fab work to the frame horns. I an planning front reciever hitches on my other two trucks. But my dually already has a stor bought shackle reverse kit that takes up a lot of room. If I had thought ahaead, I would have made my own with a hitch biult in.

Aw I see.
One last thing to think about would be putting some sort of cross bar between the frame horns, if possible.

The other two truck are going to have coil springs. That should leave plenty of room for a hitch.
