Injection Pump Wires

K, so I got 3 wires going to the pump.

The fast idle one I got figured out (one out of three is not bad )
But there is two that goto the top of the pump, and what looks like a ground.

Does anyone have an exploded view of the pumps? or something of that sort? I want to try and connect my stop solonid inside. I am going to take apart the spare leaking one that I have and see what I find, but some guidance would be nice.

#1 is the timing advance solenoid positive potential hook up.

#2 is the Fuel Shut Off solenoid positive potential hook up.

The ground lug is the ground for the timing advance if I remember correctly.

The Timing advance lug is powered at the same time the high idle solenoid is powered. They are both controlled by the temp sender that is hiding behind the upper water neck/thermostat housing. It's a two prong deal. It gets it's power feed from the glow plug controller wiring.

Here is what it looks like under the top cover. I'm pointing to the timing advance solenoid. How the timing advance solenoid works is it creates a restriction in the pump on the return side which causes the timing in the pump to increase.

Thanks!! I swapped covers, and made sure it was all connected right, and it works! So now when I turn the key off, the motor stops, no more killing the clutch to stall out the motor
