Buddy of mine has a 97 Chevy 6.5td that is leaking fuel on the injection pump. He was wondering what he can do to fix the leak. Let me describe the leak area to ya...

Right behind the tstat housing on the injection pump there is an allen headed screw that is about the size of a quarter, it's a boss on the pump that is about 2inches high - he wants to know if there is an oring or something like that he can replace on this fitting. He does not have internet access (full time RV'r).

the GM IP is the same as the Furd IP, only with a few mods and backwards. I know you've torn apart a few of them in the past, The answer should be pretty easy with your background with these pumps.

I don't think that is quite true on the later 6.5s like it was on the early units with the mechanical injection. I'll try to figure out where the leak is by looking at one and then maybe I can give my (for whatever it is worth) opinion.

"goatboy" ??!!! never mind, I don't want to know.
