Well a week ago I got from my month long vacation, the first 4 days were spent in MI, at the IDI Rally :D

Then after we followed I80 in Iowa, to the worlds largest truck stop, bought a ton of chicken lights and chrome accessories there :-X06 then headed for Tennessee, SC, NC, Virginia etc etc. Wasn't that big of a trip this year, budget was abit tighter, only did 9000km (5500 miles) in 4 weeks.

Now, enough chit chat, truck pics time :-X22

Man that looks like y'all had A LOT of fun!

I really like that blue dually and the two tone 80s SRW rig...they look GREAT!!!!

Also who has the red truck w/the tire carrier? I am fraught w/jealousy over your carrier.

dont give goose a big head, he only had the highest hp number. his torque was way down in the 380 range IIRC. me and heath had the high torque numbers.

also i find it funny that you blocked out my plate but i can still read every other one. lol

Next year we are all headed to the Indianapolis area, so for all of you whe keep saying your gonna go, put a stake in the ground! Your not getting any younger, and neither are these trucks.

Awesome pics John! And thanks to you and your family for coming down from the great white north! Your attendance is special and always appreciated. :)

be careful, i hear theyre too "obnoxious". but what i actually find them to be is very sleek and clean-looking compared to the horrid factory ford setup that had a bunch of holes punched in my door and id have to shove the wife in the back seat so i could see out of the passenger side mirror. then we can talk about the wind noise i DONT have anymore...

as for how i did it, just made a template from a "for sale" sign to get a good fit, then cut out a pice of .125 sheet and very carefully welded it in as flush as possible. i also added an angle part for some additional strength. bondo and sand til it follows a perfect factory contour, drill the holes for mounting. it all sounds simple til i realized it took me a couple weeks extra fartin around to get it right, but im happy i did.
