So I got 2 pairs of chrome stacks FOR FREE!!!:love:;Sweet:D
One pair is 6" and the other is 8".
They were in a pile of scrap I got for free.
Anyway, where can I but the in-bed y pipe kit without stacks, any suggestions?
I think this is the easiest way.
I'll have to post pics of them sittin in my box, looks sweet;Sweet

That would almost definitely kill your turbo sound. Not to mention I can't imagine it flows that well being that the exhaust flow hits the wall at the split. Not a very good design. I would bet you wouldn't be happy with it because you wouldn't hear any turbo whistle out of it.

A big 5" or so splitter will run you about $150 at a truck dealership.

Splitters are rediculous.

You can make one for $50-60 (well, 4" anyway) if you pick up two 90's and cut them, and weld em together.

You must be registered for see images attach

BTW there's people on ebay that have kits with everything in them sans stacks, they actually aren't too bad pricewise ($250-300 or so I think)

I made a 5" splitter for a buddy's Pete cab-over....I used a recip saw to cut the elbows straight so I could make a perfect "Y" and then welded it together...The parts were cheap and the whole thing took like a 1/2 hour to do.....I'm going to do the same thing for myself once I find a rig to put my 12V Cummins in.
