Do you mean there was some doubt in your mind? I thought your guys did only GOOD work!!!

Yes, the A/C worked the whole trip. Pretty much, if the car was running, the A/C was at max. On the way there it seemed to get a bit weak up around Truckee, but was cold again by the time we got to Reno. I haven't looked at the compressor yet, didn't feel a real need to as long as it blew out cold air.

Is the A/C in any way altitude sensitive?

Guess I'll have to keep recommending your shop to all who ask.

r134 falls on it's face at temps over 95*
and we were gambling on a "iffy" compressor.

Where can I get one or, didn't somebody make one using a piece of PVC pipe?
And of course it busted-off the passenger door > the one that barely gets used.

I just did all of mine by pressing a section of 5/8 nylon truck air brake line over the stud, it stretches it a bit but works awesome. Now I have red plastic bushings. they dont turn but they dont dent either.
