Pulling the same 31' TT over the same route with 5 mpg better mileage plus I now top the 6% grades 20 mph faster than when I had my old IDI.
How do you like your 12 valve cummins truck??

I have had my cummins for about 6 months now and its great, about 20 mpg and it tows beautifully, i have driven a Ford 7.3, a 6.6 '04 Duramax, which are both good trucks but I love to hear that 1990 Cummins fire right up. I will admit it is a rough ride but in my opinion its worth it. Mine 260,000 and still ticking like a clock.

OK. Still looking. Looked @ Ford 150, Duramax and even the new Dodge 2500. When I get back into my "paid for" Dodge cummins and drive away from these dealers I feel good. Ok. It still may need a paint job and a clutch in the near future - but it always starts, runs great and fuel mileage is still around 20 and more if I keep my foot out of it.
The drivers seat had to be rebuilt and really not much more has been done to it. May-be I'm just lucky. But other friends that drive the same type "12 valve" love-um.
