Yes it is the wrong bed and it is the first thing that's getting changed lol. I will be puting a bed that fits the year back on it....... And the very last thang is yes I will be putting a John Deeres 4020 diesel in it. Be around 125hp with turbo and turned up a little but there will be more mods done to it.... I don't care about the power I just want to do this diesel cuz it combines 2 things I love fords and john deeres haha I am going to get a powerstroke 2 so I'll have it for the power haha

easy killer.... I still run manual brakes. I prefer them. No worries of locking them up, really good feel for how much brake is applied.
Also, I can run any sorta camshaft I want and otherwise not worry about vacuum.

Heck, my truck even has one of them there fancy dual pot master cylinders....

Nice buy! I love the dentsides.
Makes me miss my ol' 79 F250 4x4... and my 63 F100 4x4... and my 70 F250...
Hell, even my ol' lady says my 86 is 'too new' for me. Keep thinking about swapping a 60s body on the frame down the line.:sly

What makes you think it is a Highboy and not a regular f250?

And doesnt this belong in the gas section.
