high idle on switch?

is there a way to make the high idle work off a switch and the way it functions normaly?

I've wondered the same thing. Flip a switch for the cold start advance and high idle?

Easy! Just run 12v+ to a switch on your dash, then from the switch to the connectors on the high idle solenoid and the cold start advance. They're both just spade connectors.

Howdy...go here...http://www.oilburners.net/forums/showthread.php?10326-High-Idle-Solenoid-Manual-Control...This will give you all you need to do the job the correct way...It is a little more than just hooking up a 12v+ switch, but like I said...this way is the right way...complete with pics...
