Hi all just bought a 1986 Ford F250 with the 6.9 diesel. 4x4.

Hi all great forum. Was wondering if I should change out the Autolite glow plugs that were installed just before I bought it? I have seen everyone says to buy the ZD9's I have the blade connectors on my wires. ZD1's I believe have the spade. Should I replace them and change the connectors?

ZD1A motorcraft/beru is what you want. They are the spade style and will work without changing anything.

Absolutely get those Autolite's out of there. If they're not dead yet, they will be in a few more cycles.
